SPILLDAM - LOG I is a sturdy, economical, all purpose oil containment boom specifically designed for use in inland waters and harbors with low current velocities, where versatility and effective spill containment are popular design features with oil spill cleanup contractors who are constantly moving and redeploying boom.

"Universal" extruded aluminum interlocking connectors allow sections of boom to be joined without tools. The connector is compatible with many other manufacturers' booms.

SPILLDAM - 180 consists of a flexible skirt and flotation units designed to contain oil spills in harbors and inshore locations. Although compact and lightweight, this 18" boom is of tough construction. The boom may be deployed from reels, trailers, barges or boats.

SPILLDAM - 180 is compatible with every other type of boom, to which it may be connected by means of snap hooks or other standard boom end connectors.

Also available in 24" and 36" (240 and 360 respectfully)

10" x 14" heavy duty, high buoyancy permanent oil containment boom, excellent for harbors, channels and seas, where maximum winds, currents, and waves combine to test the sturdy design of the Spilldam Permafence I. The barrier material for the Permafence I is made from rugged PVC-coated woven polyester belting specifically designed to be highly resistant to abrasion with UV and oxidation/Marine growth inhibitors.

The flotation system of the Permafence I is constructed of closed cell urethane foam enclosed in a high density polyethylene shell which is designed not to absorb water even if the shell is punctured.

Stability for the Permafence is achieved by the use of lead ballast properly placed and fastened with non-corrosive fasteners which will hold the boom upright under severe weather conditions.

Turbidity Barriers
SILTDAM CONTAINMENT BARRIERS form a sturdy, economical, and purpose turbidity barrier which can accommodate a wide variety of wind, sea and current conditions, an excellent barrier for dredge and dragline operations in open water where increased flotation, depth, and tensile strengths are required.

Flotation is provided through a series of closed cell expanded polyethylene logs, which are resilient in nature and capable of being subjected to rough service during the deployment and recovery of the containment barrier. The flotation logs are completely enclosed in a vinyl coated fabric which is heat sealed to provide a watertight flotation compartment and greater strength.

The containment barrier material consists of a filter fabric composed of woven polypropylene which allows the passage of water, but retains soil particles.
